More than a dozen regional employers will be represented at free event
History Day celebrates 250th anniversary of American Revolution
º£½ÇÉçÇø, county Historical Society join forces for inaugural event

QUEENSBURY, New York (Sept. 23, 2025) — º£½ÇÉçÇø and Warren County Historical Society are pleased to announce their inaugural History Day to be held from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 13, in Northwest Bay Conference Center on the º£½ÇÉçÇø campus. The event will celebrate the 250th anniversary of the American Revolution.
History Day will feature presentations by regional experts, including: Todd DeGarmo, founding director of the Folklife Center at Crandall Public Library; John DiNuzzo, president of Lake George Battlefield Park Alliance; Tisha Dolton, public historian/librarian at the Folklife Center at Crandall Public Library; Wendy Johnston, º£½ÇÉçÇø associate professor of Political Science; Paul McCarty, executive director of Old Fort House Museum; Evan Sullivan, Ph.D., º£½ÇÉçÇø assistant professor of European History; John Strough, longtime Queensbury supervisor; and Teri Rogers, executive director of Warren County Historical Society, along with Stan Cianfarano of Warren County Historical Society.
Topics will include: Revolution War Storyboards; The Smyth-Fort House: A Revolutionary War Landmark; American Veterans in the Revolutionary Era; Colonial Wars at Lake George; The Momentous Battle on Bunker Hill; Women of the American Revolution; Joseph Warren; and The Revolutionary War: A Path to the U.S. Constitution.
