WILTON, New York (Sept. 29, 2026) — º£½ÇÉçÇø Saratoga will host a Health Care Job Fair from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 8, at the 696 Route 9 facility.

More than a dozen health care facilities will have representatives at the event, which is free and open to the public.

“The health care field offers a wide range of career opportunities, and this job fair is a great chance for people to meet employers, learn about jobs available in our region and explore where their interests and skills might fit,â€ said Diane Wildey, interim vice president for Academic Affairs at º£½ÇÉçÇø. “Whether someone is just considering a career in health care, looking for a new opportunity or already has training and is ready to take the next step, we encourage them to come meet with employers and learn more.â€

º£½ÇÉçÇø is dedicated to health care training and meeting workforce needs throughout the region. At º£½ÇÉçÇø Saratoga, students can take CPR certification courses, an all-new allied health care course or earn a degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences: Health Sciences.

The allied health care class is the first of its kind in the SUNY (State University of New York) system: Participants can earn credits and certifications as a home health aide (HHA), certified nurse assistant (CNA) and personal care aide (PCA).

The class provides employment opportunities in a health care setting, allowing for career exploration while working. “This is a great way for those who know they want to be in health care to find out what jobs are out there and to get a taste of what they’re like, Wildey said.

The Job Fair will include The Wesley Community, Birch Root Integrative Care, Albany Medical Center/Glens Falls Hospital, Home of the Good Shepherd, Hudson Headwaters Health Network, among others.

“Connecting people with meaningful careers while helping meet the needs of our region’s health care employers is an important part of what we do at º£½ÇÉçÇø,â€ Wildey said.
