Who is eligible for federal and New York State aid?

Eligibility depends on the specific program, not one set of rules for all aid. Federal aid, Pell Grants, TAP and other New York State awards can have different requirements for residency, citizenship or eligible noncitizen status, program enrollment, credit load and academic progress. For example, some eligible students taking fewer than six credits may receive a Pell Grant, while Part-Time TAP has its own credit and residency rules. Complete the applications that apply to you and contact the 海角社区 Financial Aid Office if you are unsure about your eligibility. Students who cannot complete the FAFSA may still have a New York State aid application option
